Follow through to part 2 from there. This is really great and touches on a lot of the stuff we've been talking about on here lately. The footage and interview are actually a year old which makes it all the more intriguing that this is coming out now.

Anyway, I guess it's up to us how much of the audition and many people being involved part we believe. Still really amazing to watch the audience getting noticeably uncomfortable with the whole thing.

THEN WHO THE FUCK WAS PLAYING HIM BEFORE? WHAT THE FUCK? SERIOUSLY?! THIS CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH! WHAT THE FUCK IS HE GETTING AT? HE'S SAYING IT BUT BEING VAGUE ABOUT IT AT THE SAME TIME. he says he doesnt mean it in a philisophical sense, but that it was litlerally a differnt man. WHO THEN?

I think he's just playing up the conspiracy mate. Don't take him too seriously. Like I said, it's up to us how much we believe. I choose to believe he's joking, probably with some truth somewhere in all of that. Don't get so stressed about it.

I don't think that's what he is talking about at all. More the record company looking for a person who would act a certain way... etc. and he knew he could do it. So he did it, he does things that scares him all the time. He's the real life YES MAN, even when he wants to say no.

He knows he is this way, but he goes with it, instead of trying to take medication og change it.

That is one of the most interesting things I've ever seen. I tend to believe every single word he said. Both in the lecture, and in the interview.

But here's the thing, you really have to pay attention to the words he uses in the lecture, and in the interview. In the lecture he talks alot about word usage. Being a different person (as he stated he is a different person than the original Andrew W.K.), does not mean being a different human being. Hell, I'm a totally different person than I was 10 years ago, but I'm the same human being.

This whole thing starts after talking about his dad. The group of people, or the "other person" he talks about, I believe is completely true. His dad obviously had a huge part in the formation of the Andrew W.K. idea, and had a huge part in starting his career. But there is no doubt in my mind that the person talking in that video, is the same human being who played the "original" Andrew W.K. Different person? Yes. Different human being? No. Which basically means that there was some metamorphisis from the "original" Andrew W.K., to present day Andrew W.K.

So what can be learned out of all that? Andrew W.K. is Steev Mike. Andrew changed the image of Andrew W.K. along the way (when the switch was made late 2004), and no longer wanted to be Steev Mike. Andrew used to view himself as two different people. Andrew signed his original contract as himself and image of Andrew W.K. which was really Steev Mike. Andrew decided he didn't want to be Steev Mike anymore. Andrew W.K. hacked his own websites. So basically all the shit started to happen when Andrew didn't want to be Steev Mike anymore. His original contract with the creative manager, based on the idea/brand/image of Andrew W.K., was Andrew's vision of who Steev Mike was.

Now.....that is some FUCKED UP SHIT right there! And kind of brilliantly genius at the same time. But reeeeeeally fucked up!

i dont know man... I'm just tired of all the games. the whole believe what you want thing gets old... sometimes you just want to know the truth with a simple explanation, not a long, complicated story theorizing personality traits and so forth. just black and white shot story in plain language- what has happened over the past 10 years? maybe I'm the only one who's tired of it all. and the reason I'm acting like such a pussy about this is becuase this guy took me for a ride, you know? I really used to look up to him and believe alot of things about who he was when I was younger, and sure, alot of that positivity was really there, but the big picture is that it was all engineered. There was I reason I used to like his music so much, and his concerts. But it was never truly real. It was kinda real, but it wasnt REAL REAL. it wasnt genuine.

Yeah I tend to agree....but I really do think he can't talk about whole lot right now because of all the legal stuff, which I really think is true. Andrew's former image representing the Andrew W.K. image was based on Steev Mike. So when he got rid of Steev Mike, he got rid of the Andrew W.K. image that his contract was based on. But I think once all the legal shit gets sorted out he'll talk. It's clear he wants to, but just can't. I think eventually we'll get a black and white answer.

since we've had the steev mike thing figured out for a while now, I take it that when you say he was based on the image of steev mike, that he was basing a persona upon someone else that he knew he had to be? you know... since he is steev mike?

if andrew was an 'image' that means he's been "in-character" since 2002 when i first saw him on mtv's making of video "we want fun" that's a freaking long time to be "in-character". And if so that's the best acting skills I've ever seen! I wonder what he's REALLY LIKE? Dang he should be in the acting business NOT the music industry, wouldn't you say gullible fans?? sorry didn't mean to come off as to hard of an insult...

I don't like that andrew plays this whole thing up... what's the point? its dumb! go wright a song or something andrew!!!
